- It came into existence in the year 1975 by an Act of the Legislature to reform, recognize and consolidate school education in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
The following Annual and Bi-annual examination shall be conducted by the Board every year on the dates to be announced separately for each examination: -
i. Secondary School Examination.
ii. Higher Secondary Examination part-I
iii. Higher Secondary Examination part-II
iv. Diploma in Elementary education.
v. Certificate course in Physical Education.

ReplyDeleteI passed 10th(JK BOARD)in 1999 and then joined Indian army but now in 2012, I want to take admission in 11th/12th through NIOS. Please tell me about the admission procedure or if possible the NIOS centre in Jammu or any contact number. I will be highly grateful.
